Chemical Analysis by
Optical Emission Spectrometer
ARL 3460 Optical Emission Spectrometer
Chemical analysis of metal alloys performed using an ARL 3460 vacuum Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES). This system is capable of testing several base alloys and is equipped with 36 elemental channels.
Metal powders, chips, wire, and sub-size samples are analyzed by preparing them with our remelt button furnace. This procedure enables us to analyze non-standard-size samples spectrographically.
