Welder Performance Qualification
Test Metals offers Welder Performance qualification testing. WPQ (welder performance qualification) or WPQR (welder performance qualification record) which are tested in accordance with applicable welding codes.
Test Metals has three welding booths for administering testing to qualified welding procedures. Test Metals is equipped for Stick welding (SMAW), Wire feed aka MIG (GMAW or FCAW), and TIG welding on steel and stainless steels.
Test Metals keeps weld plates and pipes in stock for weld tests. We machine a groove angle into plates once the weld procedure is verified and scheduled.
